Helen was born and raised in sunny Guernsey. Coming from such a beautiful island it's not surprising that her first jobs were in the travel industry, but this just gave her the travel bug and she's determined to visit as many countries and cultures as possible.

She's currently pretty busy though, as she works as a Recruitment consultant and also runs an online estate agency business. When she does get some free time she gets the tent out and heads off to summer festivals.

South Africa-born Janine is a sensitive soul that loves nature, poetry and… arguing (or “debating” as she puts it). She also enjoys singing but doesn’t think she’s very good at it, which is the same way she feels about horse riding.

Janine claims to be a bit obsessive about everything and cleans all the time – “Everything has to be in its right place, it’s a terrible habit!” When she’s not spinning the Live Roulette wheel, she likes nothing better than relaxing with friends or in front of the TV or popping to the gym (providing she can get out of bed).

Ka-Ching! Lara is a self confessed shopaholic and it’s her love of fashion that puts the most strain on her plastic. At home she enjoys snuggling down with a good book but if it’s a thrill she needs, you’ll find her thumbing through her bank statements after a shopping trip!

Away from the Casino floor Lara can be found on the touchline at football matches cheering on her son who she describes as her “best friend”. Well, at least he’s keeping her away from the shops!

Travel-loving Maureen grew up in the Philippines and then after university spent two years in China and other south-eastern Asian countries. Her ambition is to see even more of the world in the future.

Shannon is “Scirish – half-Scottish, half-Irish” and believes in living for the moment, not for the day “because the day might not last long!” He is football mad – be that playing or watching – and as a boy, his dream was to play professionally.

The ball he spins now on Live Roulette is much smaller but far more exciting. Shannon used to admire Michelangelo, not the Italian artist though, Michelangelo of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Like several of her spinner colleagues, Stacey likes to dabble in the kitchen. Her secret to cooking the perfect meal? “Not burning it.” Her specialities are “a mean lasagne”, coq au vin and Sunday roasts.

If she could cook for anyone it would be photographer Bob Carlos Clarke, Anne Frank, Christopher Columbus, Greek philosopher Aristotle and war poet Wilfred Owen. Now that would be a fascinating after-dinner game of charades.
