5-Reel 20-line Slots

The objective of King Kong is to obtain winning symbol combinations by spinning the reels.

To play the game:

  • Line bets are chosen by clicking + or - below Bet/Line to increase or decrease the amount.
  • Paylines are chosen by clicking + or - below Lines. Paylines can also be activated by using the numbered buttons on either side of the reels. Selecting a high payline includes all the lower ones too. For example, selecting payline 6 also activates paylines 1 through 5. Clicking Bet Max activates all paylines with the maximum bet per line and spins the reels.
  • Total bet per game round = line bet X active paylines.
  • Clicking Spin spins the reels with the current selection of lines and line bets. During the reel spins the Spin button changes into Stop. Clicking Stop ends the spin animation and immediately displays the spin result.
  • Reels can also be spun using the Auto Start function. Roll over the AutoPlay button to display the options: 10, 20, 30 or 50 spins. Clicking on any of them selects the successive number of spins to be enabled and spins the reels. The AutoPlay button changes intoStop during the Auto Start mode of reelspin. The Auto Start mode ends when the reels have been spun the number of times determined by the player, or when the player clicksStop.
  • Wins are calculated according to the paytable. Line win = line bet X corresponding multiplier according to the paytable. Scatter win = total bet X corresponding multiplier according to the paytable. The paytable can be accessed via the Info page. When opened after a winning spin, the winning symbol combinations (number of symbols and bet multiplier) are highlighted and blink.
  • On a given payline, only the highest payline winning combination pays while simultaneous winnings on different paylines are accumulated.
  • In case of a winning spin, the Win field displays the accumulating winnings. The Win ticker can be stopped by clicking anywhere on the screen to display the total win amount immediately.
  • Payline wins and the total win are also displayed on the strip located at the bottom of the reels or the game window.

Info page:

  • Clicking Info opens the reference screen describing different game components. Clicking the arrow buttons at the lower right-hand corner of the screen enables navigating between the different info screens.
    • The Jungle Mode Paytable screen shows all winning combinations during Jungle Mode and appears only during Jungle Mode. The Jungle Mode paytable and the Big City Mode are the only two modes of slot play. Their paytables have the same numbers for all symbols, but the symbols differ graphically. The other difference between the tables is the name of the bonus triggered by 3 or more Scatters and the name of the playing mode activated when exiting that bonus. When opened after a winning spin, the winning symbol combinations (number of symbols and bet multiplier) are highlighted and blink.
    • The Big City Mode Paytable screen shows all winning combinations during Big City Mode and appears only during Big City Mode. The Jungle Mode paytable and the Big City Mode are the only two modes of slot play. Their paytables have the same numbers for all symbols, but the symbols differ graphically. The other difference between the tables is the name of the bonus triggered by 3 or more Scatters and the name of the playing mode activated when exiting that bonus. When opened after a winning spin, the winning symbol combinations (number of symbols and bet multiplier) are highlighted and blink.
    • The Jungle Mode/Big City Mode screen explains that the game can be played in two modes: Jungle mode and Big City mode and describes what features can be triggered during each of the modes as well as how switching between the two modes is done.
    • The Wild Jungle Respins screen describes the symbol combinations necessary to trigger the Wild Jungle Respins feature while in Jungle mode and explains its rules.
    • The Skull Island Bonus screen describes the symbol combinations necessary to enter the Skull Island Bonus game while in Jungle Mode and describes the Skull Island Bonus game rules.
    • The Wild Kong Respins screen describes the symbol combinations necessary to trigger the Wild Kong Respins feature while in Big City mode and explains its rules.
    • The City Tower Bonus screen describes the symbol combinations necessary to enter the City Tower Bonus game while in Big City Mode and describes the City Tower Bonus game rules.
  • Clicking Show Paylines on the Paytable page, opens a screen that illustrates all possible payline combinations. Clicking Hide Paylines closes this screen and returns to the Paytable page.
  • Clicking Back exits the Info screen and returns to the game.

Paylines:

  • Active paylines are represented by lines that appear over the reels. Paylines can be activated and their shape displayed by progressively clicking + or – below Lines.
  • Only active paylines can register wins.
  • There is a difference between the line bet and the total bet. The line bet shows how much is being bet on a single payline. The total bet shows how much is being bet in total on the game round. Payouts shown in the paytable are multiplied by the line bet.

The Scatter symbol is an exception to these rules. More information about the Scatter symbol can be found below.

About payouts:

  • Payouts are listed on the Paytable screen. To find the possible win amount, the line bet must be multiplied by the payout.
  • If two payline winning combinations occur on the same line, the higher of them is paid out. If more than one active payline has a winning combination, the winnings are accumulated.
  • Winning combinations must start from the left most reel, and the symbols have to be consecutive.

The Scatter symbol is an exception to these rules. More information about the Scatter symbol can be found below.

Jungle Mode and Big City Mode

The gameKing Kong is played in two modes: Jungle Mode and Big City Mode. In each of the two modes, the symbols change visually but the paytable remains the same. In Jungle Mode, the Wild Jungle Respins feature and the Skull Island Bonus can be triggered. In Big City Mode, the Wild Kong Respins feature and the City Tower Bonus can be triggered. Exiting Skull Island Bonus begins the Big City Mode, while exiting City Tower Bonus begins Jungle Mode.

By default, the game begins in Jungle mode.

Wild symbol

The Wild symbol in the game is the  symbol in Jungle Mode and  in Big City Mode. The symbols pay the same in both modes and differ only graphically. Wild can stand for any other symbol, except Scatter, to make the best possible winning combination. There is also a separate payout for two or more Wild symbols on an active payline, as seen in the Paytable. This is paid out instead of the regular symbol win if the win amount from Wilds is larger than the win from the regular symbols (by Wild standing in).

Three or more Wild symbols simultaneously in any position, not necessarily on a particular payline, during Jungle mode, trigger the Wild Jungle Respins feature.

Three or more Wild symbols simultaneously in any position, not necessarily on a particular payline, during Big City mode, trigger the Wild Kong Respins feature.

Wild Jungle Respins feature

If three or more Wild symbols appear in any position on the reels simultaneously, even off the paylines, during Jungle Mode, the Wild Jungle Respins feature is triggered.

The player is awarded 3 free respins, during which more Wild symbols are added to the reels and every time a Wild symbol appears, it remains frozen until the feature ends.

Click on ‘CLICK TO START’ to start the feature.

During the free respins, the reels are spun automatically using the same number of lines and bet per line as on the spin that won the feature.

The Skull Island Bonus cannot be triggered during the Wild Jungle Respins feature. The Wild Jungle Respins feature cannot be retriggered during the respins.

If the Wild Jungle Respins feature is triggered during the Auto Start mode, the feature begins after the player clicks on Click to Start. When the feature spins are over, the player clicks onContinue to return to the regular gameplay.

Wild Kong Respins feature

If three or more Wild symbols appear in any position on the reels simultaneously, even off the paylines, during Big City Mode, the Wild Kong Respins feature is triggered.

The player is awarded 3 free respins. In the first respin, all symbols on reels #1 and #5 are Wild. In the second respin, all symbols on reels #2 and #4 are Wild. In the third respin, all symbols on reels #1, #3 and #5 are Wild. On the reels that are covered with Wilds, an animation is played of King Kong chasing a car in a city. The rest of the reels spin regularly. The Wild symbols substitute for all other symbols except Scatter.

During the free respins, the reels are spun automatically using the same number of lines and bet per line as on the spin that won the feature.

The City Tower Bonus cannot be triggered during the Wild Kong Respins feature. The Wild Kong Respins feature cannot be retriggered during the respins.

Click on ‘CLICK TO START’ to start the feature.

If the Wild Kong Respins feature is triggered during the Auto Start mode, the feature begins after the player clicks on Click to Start. When the feature spins are over, the player clicks on Continue to return to the regular gameplay.

Scatter symbol

The Scatter symbols do not have to occur on any particular payline.

If there are three or more Scatters in any position on the reels in either mode, the payout earned is multiplied by the total bet and added to payline winnings.

Three or more Scatter symbols  in any position on the reels simultaneously during Jungle Mode, trigger the Skull Island Bonus.

Three or more Scatter symbols  in any position on the reels simultaneously during Big City Mode, trigger the City Tower Bonus.

Skull Island Bonus

If three or more Scatter symbols appear in any position on the reels simultaneously during Jungle mode, the Skull Island Bonus is triggered.

To start the Skull Island Bonus round, click on Click to Start.

In the Skull Island Bonus, the player is presented a map with 13 locations. Click on a location to uncover one out of three creatures or King Kong. Play until you uncover three of the same kind of creature or until you have found one King Kong. Each creature is worth a different cash prize which is a multiple of the total bet of the spin that triggered the Skull Island Bonus (X10, X15 or X20 for creatures or X30 for King Kong). The maximum total amount that can be won from the Skull Island Bonus is 30 times the total bet of the spin that triggered the feature.

At the end of the Skull Island Bonus, a win screen displays your winnings. Click Continue to return to the regular slot reels, where normal gameplay resumes in Big City Mode.

If the Skull Island Bonus is triggered during the Auto Start mode, the feature begins after the player clicks on Click to Start. When the bonus round is over, the player clicks Continue on the screen summarizing the feature win and the Auto Start mode resumes in Big City Mode.

City Tower Bonus

If three or more Scatter symbols appear in any position on the reels simultaneously during Big City mode, the City Tower Bonus is triggered.

To start the City Tower Bonus round, click on Click to Start.

In the City Tower Bonus, King Kong is on top of a high city tower, with planes flying around him. The player must pick 1 out of 3 planes on three separate occasions. Clicking on a selection wins a cash prize, which is a multiple of the total bet of the spin that triggered the City Tower Bonus (from X1 to X8) and begins a short clip in which King Kong takes down a plane. Once the clip is over, if there are any more selections to be made, the player is returned to the screen in which another plane must be picked. Taking down three planes ends the City Tower Bonus. The maximum total amount that can be won from the City Tower Bonus is 23 times the total bet of the spin that triggered the feature.

At the end of the City Tower Bonus, a win screen displays your winnings. Click Continue to return to the regular slot reels, where normal gameplay resumes in Jungle Mode.

If the City Tower Bonus is triggered during the Auto Start mode, the feature begins after the player clicks on Click to Start. When the bonus round is over, the player clicks Continue on the screen summarizing the feature win and the Auto Start mode resumes in Jungle Mode.

Open the reference screen that describes the different game components.
Auto Play / Stop

Choose the number of successive spins made with Auto Start and spin the reels. / End the active Auto Start reelspin mode.

Lines + and – buttons

Increase or decrease the number of active paylines.

Bet/Line + and – buttons

Increase or decrease the bet per line.

Bet Max

Activate all paylines with the currently selected line bet, and spin the reels.
Spin / Stop

Spin the reels. / During the reel spins, except for the Wild Jungle and Wild Kong respins features, the SPIN button changes into STOP. Clicking STOP ends the spin animation and immediately displays the spin results. Clicking Stop during the active Auto Start ends the spin animation and immediately displays the spin results. However, it does not end the Auto Start reelspin mode.

The lower edge of the game window holds the casino toolbar. It contains the following:

  • Your account balance is displayed in white font in the bottom left corner of the game screen. This is the money you can use to play the casino games.
  • Cashier

Clicking this button opens the Cashier window, where you can make deposits and withdrawals, see your transaction history, etc.

  • Play for Real Money

This button appears only in Fun or Offline Mode. Clicking it will take you to the Real Money account creation page. If you already have a Real Money account, it will take you to the Play for Real Money login screen.

  • Menu

Some popular functions are united under the Menu.

Clicking History (unavailable in Offline mode) will open the game history window, where you can see the details of recent game rounds.

Options allows you to change audio quality and various gameplay settings, and Help opens the help article that you are reading right now.

Online Support lets you contact a customer support specialist, if one is online.

  • Exit

Clicking this button closes the game window and takes you back to the Lobby.

Note on disconnections: If you are disconnected from the Internet in the middle of the main game, the spin will be automatically completed. To continue the game from the point where it was broken, log in again into the casino and you will be automatically directed back to the game. If you re-open the game without re-logging into the casino, the game will start from the very beginning. In both cases, your previous wins will be paid. You can click the History button to see the outcome of your previous round after you log back into the casino.

  • If you are disconnected from the Internet during a bonus round or Free Games, you will be automatically directed back to the game after you log back into the casino so you can continue the game. If you re-open the game without re-logging into the casino, the game will start from the very beginning. In both cases, your previous wins will be paid.
  • If you are disconnected from the Internet during a spin using the Auto Start function, the spin will be automatically completed, but further spins will not automatically commence. You can click the History button to see the outcome of your previous round after you log back into the casino.

Note on malfunctions: A malfunction voids all pays and plays.
